Registration is open for one of the largest volunteer tree planting events in Nashville: Root Nashville’s Fall Planting Party! This year’s event will take place on November 23rd (the Saturday before Thanksgiving) at sites all over the city including farms, apartment complexes, and places of worship. Our goal? To plant over 250 trees, all of which will grow up to join the ranks of Nashville’s growing tree canopy and provide environmental benefits to people, animals, and waterways alike. Roll up your sleeves, rally your friends, and let’s get planting!
In addition to Responding in Get Connected, please sign up for a specific site at through the link below
The trees planted at the Fall Planting Party will all count toward Root Nashville’s campaign goal of planting 500,000 trees in Davidson County by 2050.
Curious about the campaign’s progress? Here’s a hint: the 50,000th Root Nashville tree will be planted somewhere in town this fall!
